Introduction to Nosework Workshop

Learn about K9 Nose Work and give your dog a chance to try this fun game, using their natural ability to search for odor

Pre-Requisite: your dog should be able to crate for short periods of time

Reactive Dogs Welcome but please discuss with us prior to registering

Bring Plenty of soft, high value treats to reward your dog

Learn about teaching odor, how odor travels, how to introduce your dog to this sports, and various training theories applied

Workshop facilitated by Susan O'Donnell, an experienced handler ad competitor in NACSW and AKC scent work. Susan's Lab "Ty" competes at the NASCW NW3 Level an is on the hunt for his Elite Championship. Her Golden Retriever, "Roadie" earned his NW1 title with a High in Trial and NW2 title with an overall 2nd place.
